Check if Element Exists Using Javascript or jQuery

To check if an element exists on a page you can use the getElementById method:

if (document.getElementById('theID')) { }

You can also do this by using jQuery’s length method:

if ($('#theID').length) { }

Copy Code With Syntax Highlighting

A quick and easy way to copy your source code with syntax highlighting is to use the default NppExport plugin in Notepad++. Simply copy and paste your code into Notepad++ and select the appropriate syntax from the Language menu. You can then copy in Rich Text (RTF) or HTML from the Plugins -> NppExport menu, or just right-click and select Plugin Commands -> Copy Text With Syntax Highlighting as shown below.

Resolving “An unknown error occurred and the action couldn’t be completed” for OneNote on Android

A common error when first trying to sync OneNote on an Android device is “An unknown error occurred and the action couldn’t be completed”. This can often be resolved by deleting the directory labeled ‘Personal (Web)’. This can be done either from the OneNote application or by logging in to SkyDrive.

After deleting the web directory, you should be able to re-install and sync your Notebooks from the Android app.
