How to Fix a VBE7INTL.DLL Could Not Be Found Error

Posted by 2 Comments

Sometimes, after changes to Microsoft Office are made you may start receiving the error message:

The Language DLL ‘VBE7INTL.DLL’ could not be found.

Or VBE6INTL.DLL if you’re using an older version of Office. To resolve this error, you need to install the Office Shared Feature, Visual Basic for Applications.

  1. First start up the Microsoft Office Setup program. If you do not have your disc available, you can always use the free SharePoint Designer 2010 Installer (32-bit version) for this task.
  2. Choose Add or Remove Features from the first screen. Or if you are running an installer like the SharePoint Designer for the first time, choose Customize.
  3. Expand the Office Shared Features category.
  4. Under the Visual Basic for Applications section, choose Run from My Computer.

Office Installer

After the installation is complete you should stop receiving the VBE7INTL.DLL not found error.

    I followed your instructions

    but the error persists. ;-(

My OS is Win 10 and my Office is from 2007. This problem has popped up very recently, possibly following the latest Win 10 update.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
